Ingredients

Classic pita chips

  • 8 pita bread
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Oregano and paprika pita chips

  • 8 pita bread
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Spicy lime pita chips

  • 8 pita bread
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 limes zest only
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Classic pita chips

  • Cut the pita bread in triangles. You can make them finer by opening the bread in half first. It depends on what you'll be serving them with.
  • Mix the triangles with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Place the bread in a preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for 6-10 minutes or until golden.

For the pita chips with spices

  • Cut the pita bread in triangles. You can make them finer by opening the bread in half first. It depends on what you'll be serving them with.
  • Mix the spices with the salt. This makes it easier to sprinkle the spices over the bread.
  • Mix the triangles with the olive oil, salt and spices.
  • Place the bread in a preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for 6-10 minutes or until golden.
