Preheat a pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the onion and sautée for 5-7 minutes or until it looks soft, translucent and just starting to become golden.
Add the garlic and mix constantly for 30 seconds - 1 minute to cook it. Reserve everything.
In a bowl mix the tuna, onion and garlic from before, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt and pepper.
Form the patties with your hands and reserve.
Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and cook the patties until golden, about 2min per side. Serve hot.
